Rani Baidoun is a 4th-year PhD Candidate in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering department at the University of Pennsylvania, working under Dr. Dohyung Kim. His research focuses on understanding the fundamentals of electrocatalysis, particularly the interfacial liquid layer near catalyst surfaces, in relation to key reactions such as the CO₂ reduction reaction. Rani is passionate about the intersection of science, innovation, entrepreneurship, and business, which naturally led him to the consulting world. He is interested in pursuing a career in management consulting. He has been involved with PBG for 3 years and is excited to grow the club further. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, trying new foods, playing video games, and spending time with friends.
