Co-VP of Case Competition

Rahul Ramaraju is a Ph.D. student in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of protein carbohydrate interactions using computational modeling and simulation, with the goal of informing therapeutic design and enabling applications in glycoengineering. He is also pursuing a dual M.S. in Statistics and Data Science through the Wharton School to deepen his expertise in data-driven analysis and statistical modeling.

Rahul earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Louisiana State University. As an undergraduate and high school student, he conducted medical research in metabolic regulation and clinical outcomes in surgery and oncology, as well as engineering research in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling. He has been a member of PBG for one year. Outside of research, Rahul enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and playing badminton.
