Co-VP of Casing
Aline is a fourth-year PhD candidate in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, where she is also pursuing an Energy Management and Policy certificate from the Kleinman Center for Energy Policy. Her research in Professor Jennifer Wilcox's lab focuses on the mechanistic foundations of carbon durability and uncertainty across multiple carbon dioxide removal (CDR) pathways. Before Penn, Aline earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Washington State University. Last year, she served on PBG's conference board as Co-Director of Event Planning, and she looks forward to continuing to contribute to PBG's mission in her new role as Co-VP of Casing. In her free time, Aline enjoys spending time with friends, trying new restaurants, traveling, and playing tennis.
