Director of Career Development
Manny is a rising fourth-year PhD candidate in the Pharmacology Graduate Group. His research in Dr. Jake Brenner’s lab focuses on elucidating the mechanism behind lipid nanoparticle-induced inflammation and engineering solutions. Before coming to Penn, Manny earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University (just across the street from Penn). He has been involved with PBG for two years and is excited to help maintain and improve the career development arm for its members. In his free time, he enjoys staying active (golf and pickleball recently, previously played lots of tennis and volleyball) and cooking (banana bread and mango lassi have been recent go-to’s)
