Jiale is a second-year master’s student in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to Penn, she earned her B.S. in Cell and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara, where she conducted research on measles virus protein localization and host-cell interactions. She also spent time interning in healthcare IPO consulting, supporting projects related to market research, industry analysis, and commercialization strategy. Jiale was involved in last year’s Wharton Biotech Conference as an event planner and is excited to continue helping organize events that make biotech, healthcare, and career exploration feel more approachable and engaging for students. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, trying new foods, and ceramics.
