Hrishit Shah
Hrishit is a second-year MEng candidate in Biotechnology at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He brings a strong foundation in life sciences to his role at PBG, with co-authored research published in Nature Communications and Science from his time as a Research Specialist in Penn's Sehgal Lab, where he studied the relationship between sleep, circadian rhythms, and seizure biology.
Before joining Penn, Hrishit earned a BS in Neuroscience (Honors) with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating Magna Cum Laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He has built his consulting toolkit through PBG, where he has advised a clinical-stage medical device and therapeutics company on pricing strategy, market sizing, reimbursement pathways, and 5-year financial modeling, and through an independent strategy engagement with a medical device startup spanning patent analysis, licensing strategy, and go-to-market planning. He also completed coursework in Strategy and Competitive Advantage at Wharton, and brings experience in financial modeling, investor-facing materials, and VC outreach strategy to his role as Co-VP of Finance.
In his free time, Hrishit enjoys triathlon training, good coffee, and exploring new restaurants around Philadelphia.
