George Pilitsis is a Director of Product at Ginkgo Bioworks, where he focuses on building data-driven platforms at the intersection of AI and drug discovery. His work centers on generating large-scale, high-quality biological datasets to power machine learning models and improve the predictability of therapeutic development. He has contributed to major collaborative initiatives, including ARPA-H–supported efforts to advance multi-omics data generation and accelerate safer, more effective drug discovery.

Prior to joining Ginkgo, George spent over four years at Deloitte, where he worked at the intersection of data, strategy, and life sciences, helping organizations translate complex analytics into actionable insights. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University, where he developed a strong foundation in engineering and data-driven problem solving.
