David Kellman is a Managing Director and Head of Life Sciences and Biopharma Investment Banking at Citizens Capital Markets. Citizens has a leading life sciences franchise, working with private and public companies on strategic transactions as well as accessing the equity and debt capital needed to advance development programs and support commercial launch.  He has nearly 25 years of experience advising or investing in life sciences and biotech companies.
 
Prior to joining Citizens, David was a Vice President at Paramount BioSciences, a life sciences investment firm. Previously, he was a hedge fund analyst at S.A.C. Capital Advisors focused on healthcare investing and a member of the healthcare investment banking group at Piper Jaffray. David began his career in the healthcare group of Investor Growth Capital, the venture capital arm of Investor AB.
 
David holds a BS in finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and a BSE in bioengineering from its School of Engineering and Applied Science, having graduated from the Management and Technology Program.
