Claire is a second year PhD student in the Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate Program, beginning her thesis research in the Chodosh laboratory studying breast cancer dormancy and metastasis. Before coming to Penn, Claire earned a BA in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, Evolutionary Biology and Ecology, and English from the University of Colorado Boulder. She also worked for three years at a lung cancer diagnostics biotech company and as a senior research assistant in the Mani Lab at Brown University. She previously worked with PBG as a team member on a consulting project in Spring 2026 and is so excited to be a part of the PBG E-Board and build collaborative connections in the greater Penn Biotech community. Outside of her graduate work, Claire is obsessed with hiking, soccer, horror movies, and the Philadelphia food scene.
