Carol Xu

Carol is a second-year PhD student in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studies antigen-specific T cells and their biophysical properties in autoimmune and infectious diseases. Prior to Penn, she earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Brandeis University. As Co-VP of Case Competition, Carol is excited to develop engaging case competitions that help students strengthen their problem-solving, teamwork, and strategic thinking skills while gaining exposure to real-world challenges in the biotech and healthcare industries. In her free time, Carol enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, and exploring new restaurants.
