Abigail Daniels
Abigail is a 3rd year (4th in August) PhD Candidate in the Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate Group, with a concentration in Microbiology, Virology, and Parasitology. Her research focuses on the gamete developmental biology and reproduction of the apicomplexan parasite, Cryptosporidium. Before Penn, she obtained her MS and BS in Cell Biology from Brandeis University. She was also a Post-Baccalaureate Fellow at the NIH where she studied bacterial small RNA regulation. Abigail has completed four previous PBG projects and is excited to oversee more project development functions and interact with new PBG members. Outside of lab she likes to read, paint, and go on adventures with her dog.
