Shefali Shah

Ms. Shefali Shah is a respected executive in the pharmaceutical industry and a visionary strategist in business transformation. She has 27 years of experience leading strategy and execution to fuel innovation across the globe.

In her current role, she leads the development and execution of Corporate Affairs strategy while aligning and integrating Policy, Communications, Social Impact, and Sustainability organizations. She is also responsible for Brand and Reputation strategy for Merck. In her previous role, she led Enterprise Go-to-Market strategy development and implementation for inline and pipeline assets.

During her tenure at Merck, she has developed a strong reputation with a proven track record of success across various divisions. She has built expertise in strategy development and execution, real estate and workplace transformation, market access and pricing, policy, communications, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, quality, Lean Six Sigma, change management, and business transformation.

Shefali recently graduated with a degree in Global C-Suite Transformation and Leadership from Wharton. She also holds an MBA with a concentration in Pharmaceutical Business from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia; a Bachelor of Science in Toxicology from Rutgers University, NJ; and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from M. G. Science University, India. She is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, certified change management leader, behavioral coach, and trained Inclusion Change Partner.
