Ana Newnam

Ana Newnam is the Competitive Intelligence Team Lead at Bristol Myers Squibb, part of the Enterprise Strategy group.  Ana joined Bristol Myers Squibb in 2016 where she currently leads enterprise‑wide strategic intelligence efforts spanning oncology, cell therapy, immunology, cardiovascular, and neuroscience portfolios. She brings extensive experience across the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, helping leadership teams translate complex scientific and competitive landscapes into clear, decision‑enabling insights. Over her career, she has held roles of increasing responsibility across business insights & analytics, commercialization and enterprise strategy. Prior to BMS, she held positions at Johnson & Johnson, Bausch & Lomb, and Novo Nordisk. She is known for building high‑impact teams, advancing AI‑enabled intelligence models, and serving as a strategic partner to senior leadership across the organization. Ana holds an MBA in Marketing from Rider University and a BA in Economics from Rutgers University. She serves on the advisory board for the Pharma CI Conference and is an active leader within the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), including roles with B‑NOW Women of the Year and Rising
