Mike Murphy

Director of Consulting

Mike is a Ph.D. candidate in Penn's Neuroscience Graduate Group. His thesis work delves into the epigenetic effects of stress on the brain's reward centers, and how it affects decision-making and habit formation. Prior to Penn, Mike completed his B.S. in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics at UCLA. During his time there, he worked in various labs focused on virology, clinical interventions, and behavioral psychology. Mike has completed five PBG projects over the years and is excited to manage PBG's diverse portfolio of consulting projects. When he's not in the lab, Mike enjoys discovering new house music, playing sports, cooking elaborate meals, and traveling when he can.
