Christian is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics Graduate Group. He is an NHGRI F31 Fellow whose thesis research focuses on the biotechnological use of DNA modifying enzymes in the sequencing of epigenetic DNA states. Prior to Penn, Christian graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a B.S. in Biochemistry. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and watching soccer.
